When I trained as a celebrant, I had a plan to set up a training school for celebrants.  However, over time, I realised that there are lots of excellent training centres for celebrants and I didn't want to dilute my work as a celebrant.  Instead, I decided to write a book that I hope will be off help to those who want to be celebrants or maybe those who want an 'aide-memoire' to celebrants.

I have used what I have learned over the past few years from those who trained me, the funeral directors I work with and, most importantly, the families I have been privileged to help at their most difficult time.

I have also included stories about services I have taken and my experience of managing grief.
